Also please note that shipping does actually cost shippers, and even more for me, as I live in a very rural area. Things like: box/envelope; packing material; tape; markers; time; and my gas when I hand deliver the package to the United States Post Office, can either be covered in honest shipping & handling fees or factored into the item's amount, if the free shipping option is offered.
